What does BVSc mean?

Explains the BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) degree and how it compares to DVM and VMD.

BVSc stands for Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

It’s a veterinary degree title used in many countries and is generally comparable to the DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or VMD (Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris) degrees used in the U.S.

When you review your pet’s health documents or travel certificates in PadsPass, you may see “BVSc” listed after your veterinarian’s name as part of their credentials.
