Breed Restrictions

Some airlines and destinations have breed-related restrictions, and policies can vary by airline, route, season, and aircraft. Some carriers may impose additional restrictions for brachycephalic (snub-nosed) breeds, especially in warm weather or for certain aircrafts.

Always confirm the current rules for your specific trip with your airline and destination authority, and consult your licensed veterinarian if you have questions about your pet's fitness to travel. Final acceptance always rests with the airline and the destination authority.

PadsPass shows destination-specific requirements for supported destinations so you can see what applies to your trip. To get started, complete your pet's profile: add their microchip number, the date it was first scanned, and their most recent rabies vaccination (the two most recent if possible).
